Happy New Year!

Well, Christmas came around so quick and now it's been and gone already!!!

So...into 2017 it is then!

This year is exiting for me as we have a new addition arriving in our family due in April

ooh no ..not me, my daughter is expecting!! :)

..And then later in the year we have a wedding as well, so it's all go and busy busy making invites and button holes, choosing cars, cakes and flowers...I love it!!

I recently opened shop again on Folksy, haven't been on there for a while, not since I used to make kiln fused jewellery.

New Forest Fairy Festival

Fae, Fairy, Faerie..

I am going to the fairy festival this year in August, I can't wait, it's all so exciting!! 
 I would be really missing out if I didn't go!!!

Wire wrapped hair garlands in different sizes!

Each one is wrapped with florist tape and entwined with mulberry paper roses, wired beads and fairy or butterfly style wings!

Masquerade masks...how magical!

Alice bands hand decorated with real reindeer moss..they look like miniature fairy gardens!

The wings are ready made from plastic and I decorate them with gems and glitter, mount them on the hair accessories nestled amidst moss, gems and fairy dust, they really do look enchanting!

Dark Fairy Queen hair accessories

On the darker side

As promised ..here are some pics of my Dark Fairy/Vampire hair accessories

I have made them using charcoal coloured reindeer moss, black lace, ribbon roses and cute little bat wings!

They look fabulous on and are available to buy from my Etsy shop! 

They come in a variety of designs and on different coloured Alice bands.

They are the perfect costume accessory to wear for Halloween parties, Goth events and festivals.

Light weight and comfortable to wear, these are suitable for teens to adults, not for small children as they have small parts and are a delicate item.

Here is a selection of Witch's hats, perfect for Trick or Treating, fancy dress parties or wearing to the shops! :) 

This one is pre-made and all sparkly, I have decorated it with metal charms,feather and spider ribbon, it is set on the angle and comfortable to wear.

These are smaller and are pre-made from felt and I have decorated these with gems,feathers,lace and sequins ...this first one is SOLD! 

This one is all hand made (apart from the velvet Alice band) ..it stands taller and is more pointy with the took crooked, it has a feather, cobweb ribbon and a metal crow charm dangling from the point.

I have set it on the angle and it is suitable for teen to adults.

Finally ...we mustn't forget the black cat, every witch has a black cat ...these cute eats are made from real leather and have cute bows for decoration!
